Position overview Hannibal Industries is hiring for an experienced Tool and Die Machinist to join our team. The Tool and Die Machinist is a key player in setting-up and operating a variety of mechanically-controller machine tools to produce precision metal parts, instruments and tools. Responsibilities Promote and ensure safe working practices and a healthy workplace atmosphere. Must be able to operate a Lathe, Circular Drill, a Blanchard, a surface grinder and a vertical milling machine. Build all different forms of stamping tooling. Punch and Die Maintenance. Incorporate engineering changes into current tooling. Trouble shoot problems with minimal supervision. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Provide written line ups for the opposing shift. Mentor and train less experienced employees. Be able to work on multiple dies at 1 time. Any other duties that me be assigned by department supervisor.
